Anchored made it to the CBCA 2024 Notables Lists... for TWO categories!

I have some great news! Anchored, written by the lovely Debra Tidball and illustrated by yours truly, have been nominated for both the CBCA 2024 Book of the Year Awards under the categories Picture Book and Early Childhood Book of the Year!

In celebration of this wonderful surprise, I made a little Impressionists-style-inspired sketch of a boat on the ocean at sunset :)

I'm so honoured to be part of the team that brought this beautiful, heart-warming story to life. Thank you to all the amazing people at EK who helped made this happen, and thanks so much to the CBCA judges for including us in their 2024 notables list.


Keeping my fingers rightly crossed that we will make it to the Shortlist, eeee! (2024 Shortlist will be announced on 19 March)
